What is it? Het Scheepvaartmuseum is a large museum and waterfront event venue in a 17th-century former admiralty warehouse in Amsterdam, with spaces ranging from intimate boardrooms to the glass-roofed Open Plein for up to 1,000 standing guests. Best suited to Board dinners for around 20 guests, meetings and seated dinners for approximately 75–175 guests depending on room, and weddings, corporate evenets and conferences, galas and large receptions and dinners for up to 1,000. Facilities AV equipment, microphones, projectors, screens and WiFi, an in-house kitchen and pastry production, waterside terraces for up to 75 guests each and direct water access for boat arrivals. Location & access Kattenburgerplein 1 on Amsterdam's eastern waterfront, close to Amsterdam city centre and Amsterdam Centraal.
