A Culinary Affair processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself.
Below is an overview of the personal data we process: first and last name, phone number and email address.
Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children's online activities, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent.
If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@aculinaryaffair.nl and we will delete this information.
For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data
A Culinary Affair processes your personal data for the following purposes: sending our newsletter and/or promotional mailings, and being able to call or email you if this is necessary in order to carry out our services.
Automated decision-making
A Culinary Affair does not take decisions on the basis of automated processing on matters that could have (significant) consequences for individuals. This concerns decisions taken by computer programmes or systems without a human being (for example an employee of A Culinary Affair) being involved.
How long we keep personal data
A Culinary Affair does not keep your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention period: we keep contact details for one year, for the purpose of contacting you.

A Culinary Affair only provides data to third parties where this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

A Culinary Affair does not use cookies or similar techniques.
Viewing, amending or deleting data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for the processing of your data or to object to the processing of your personal data by A Culinary Affair, and you have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or to another organisation named by you.
You can send a request for access, correction, deletion or transfer of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or an objection to the processing of your personal data, to info@aculinaryaffair.nl.
To make sure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, and within four weeks.
A Culinary Affair would also like to point out that you have the option of lodging a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
